The first Longevity Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine Centre was established in 1983 by Dr. Frank Wang, an experienced Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor for over 40 years. Dr. Charlie Wang is the 3rd generation successor of Wang’s family medicine practice. During his early childhood, Dr. Charlie Wang started his medical journey with his grandmother and his father (Dr. Frank Wang). Dr. Charlie Wang’s family medicine practice is well-known for fertility medicine for decades in Taiwan. In college, Dr. Charlie Wang enrolled in both Western Medicine and Chinese Medicine programs. Dr. Charlie Wang enrolled in Beijing University of Chinese Medicine International Education Center (BUCM) / Alberta College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACATCM) for Doctor of Acupuncture program and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Charlie Wang completed and succeeded in both programs. By the year of 2008, Dr. Charlie Wang passed the Alberta Acupuncture Examination and obtained his Registered Acupuncturist Qualification. Dr. Charlie Wang later traveled back to Taiwan and taught at China Medical University Hospital (CMUH) as an internal medicine professor. Dr. Charlie Wang is knowledgeable in both Western Medicine and Chinese Medicine from his primary education. Dr. Charlie Wang is compassionate to his patients and dedicated to his profession.
