The first Longevity Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine Centre was established in 1983 as part of the Wang family’s long-standing medical heritage. Dr. Charlie Wang, the third-generation successor of the family’s medical legacy, began his journey in medicine as a child, learning from both his grandmother and father. The family practice has been highly regarded for its expertise in fertility medicine for decades in Taiwan.
Dr. Charlie Wang pursued his education in both Western Medicine and Chinese Medicine. He attended the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine International Education Center (BUCM) and the Alberta College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACATCM), where he successfully completed the Doctor of Acupuncture and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine programs. In 2008, he passed the Alberta Acupuncture Examination and became a Registered Acupuncturist. Dr. Charlie Wang’s extensive knowledge in both Western and Chinese Medicine, combined with his compassion and dedication, make him a highly skilled and empathetic practitioner.
