The first Longevity Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine Centre was established in 1983 as part of the Wang family’s long-standing medical heritage and tradition in the treatment of women’s health and fertility through Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Charlie Wang comes from a long-established family medical lineage in Taiwan with decades of experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Under the guidance of both his grandmother and his father, Dr. Wang began studying medicine at an early age, developing a strong foundation in Traditional Chinese Medicine and personalized patient care.

Dr. Wang pursued formal training in both Western and Chinese medicine. He studied at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine International Education Center (BUCM) and the Alberta College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACATCM), where he completed the Doctor of Acupuncture and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine programs. In 2008, he became a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) and a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCMD) in Alberta after passing the provincial licensing examination.

Dr. Charlie Wang specializes in the treatment of both male and female infertility, as well as a wide range of gynecological conditions using Traditional Chinese Medicine. In addition to his clinical practice, he continues ongoing study and clinical research in Traditional Chinese Medicine and reproductive health. With a rare combination of classical Chinese medical training and modern Western medical knowledge, Dr. Wang is known for his precise, thoughtful, and compassionate approach to fertility care.
